Murali Kris Avilineni graduated from MGR Medical University, Chennai in 2000 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Fitness and Exercise Rehabilitation in 2003 from Madras University. Kris is a life-long learner and has taken many continuing education courses with a focus on orthopedics, spinal manipulation, biomedical dry needling, and vestibular rehabilitation. He is authorized to perform spinal manipulation and use dry needles in practice and has experience with athletes in various sports. He has more than 15 years of experience as a therapist, working in India and Canada. On his days off, he can be found with his wife and lovely daughter at Lake Summerside Park. Estelle graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 1980 with a BSc in Physical Therapy before passing the Physiotherapy Competency Examination in Canada. Her area of interest is treating all ages of clients with orthopaedic conditions. Estelle has completed level 3 of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manipulative Physiotherapy. She also obtained her Certificate as a Manilpulative Therapist through the SWODEAM institute as well as her Certificate in Biomedical Dry Needling. She has completed certification through the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute to treat the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Abhishay is currently enrolled in the 3000-hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist (ACMT) course at Makami College of Massage Therapy, Alberta, and already has 1250 hours under her belt. She’s currently working as a student massage therapist and will be fully licensed in July 2021. She is a member of the Canadian Registered Massage Therapy Association (CRMTA).
She completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (BPT) in 2014 from India and worked as an Assistant Physiotherapist for 4 years in Edmonton. She has mastered diverse techniques to aid patients in recovery such as but not limited to: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal and various PNF techniques to release muscle tension.
